What is aria-label?

The aria-label attribute defines an accessible name as a text string directly in the HTML code, without it being visible on screen. It is used when no visible text sufficiently describes the interactive element, for example a button containing only an icon. This attribute takes priority over the text content of the element when computing the accessible name.
