What is European Accessibility Act (EAA)?
The European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882) imposes accessibility requirements for digital products and services across the European Union from June 2025. It applies to the private sector, including e-commerce, banking services, transport, and telecommunications. Websites and mobile applications must comply with EN 301 549, which relies on WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
