What is Screen reader?
A screen reader is software that interprets the content displayed on screen and renders it as speech or braille output. The most common are NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, and TalkBack on Android. The screen reader relies on the browser's accessibility tree to determine the name, role, and state of each element.
