What is Skip link?
A skip link is an internal link placed at the very beginning of the page, usually visually hidden but keyboard-accessible, that allows jumping directly to the main content. It prevents keyboard and screen reader users from having to traverse the entire navigation menu on every page. WCAG 2.4.1 (Bypass Blocks) makes this mechanism required.
